We have all heard the term "Black on Black" crime. Tonight we are going discuss how this term can and does apply to other races, ethnicities and cultures. This topic was brought to me by someone who has personally experienced such a tragedy. She asked me, "If we can be so quick to kick down the door of a police precinct when a cop shoots a black person. Why are we not as assertive when we commit crimes against each other?" I must ask is this necessarily true? Could it be that we do in fact take action, but maybe it is not attractive enough for the media? Or could it be that with different races, cultures and ethnicities that one is taught to be hush-hush when crime hits home. Join Colors of Class as we discuss this difficult topic. Log on, call in and of course join in.
