On tonight's show we discuss the notion that a woman is responsible for making a man better. Some believe that a man only becomes a man when he encounters the right women. Often, this is the woman that won't stand for the game-play of males that have not learned to be men.
What is a woman's role in the making of a man? Is a man's potential her responsibility to guide or to cultivate? Popular culture seems to place the onus on the woman to make men better. This is a common narrative on television and in film. A friend sent me a video clip that I will play on the show where a very well-meaning brother endorses this very idea. He says that "a woman should never marry a man that has it all together."
If the thought of that intrigues you as it did me, listen to my thoughts on that and more.
