back with more CHAOS, tonight on the Local Artist Showcase, we're featuring  :

On Edge

tune in the hear their exclusive story, hear unreleased audio tracks from their up and coming album due out this year, as well as get the dirt on the bands past, present, and future! If Chaos didn't approve, we wouldn't support em.. tune in and help support Local Artists!

The band was founded by Kyle Adams (rhythm guitar) who later recruited Pete Silvestri (lead guitar), who has proven to be a valuable asset to the group. After struggling to find the right person to be the voice of the band, Rudy Gonzalez (vocals) presented himself, bringing in a whole new palate of sounds and ideas. The band has also had many drummers but none as diverse as Todd Milne. Todd was unable to be on the record but he shares the spirit of their previous drummer and adds some percussive touches that fill out the live set. Ryan Brown, the newest member, comes in on bass. His story is very similar to Todd’s in the sense that he is not on the album but adds so much to the sound and feel of the songs.

The band together on stage is a sight and experience to behold! The raw power of the bass and drums combined with the harsh guitars and piercing vocals make for a concussive blast of tonal chaos! Crowd favorites like “Mutant Gooch” and a metal rendition of Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back” make for a show that you won’t soon forget. The band has been all over the west side of the US and is planning on a few tours that will land them on the east coast, the south, middle America, and even overseas.

On-Edge is currently writing new material for a second album and plans to debut some of the new stuff at upcoming shows so keep an eye out! And be sure to keep an eye out for their album which slated for a 2011 releas
