This week, The Doc reviews with instant reaction thoughts and well-explained match star ratings the first AEW pay-per-view (PPV) of the Dynamite on TNT era!

Going into the show, Doc's enthusiasm was infused by the live experience last Wednesday night of having attended Dynamite in Charlotte.  His daughter's pink Riho sign made it to TV and the entire experience was just a blast and a half.  That said, though ordering the event was a no-brainer by the time that wild brawl went off the air to end the TNT show three nights prior, there is always the issue of whether or not a PPV proved itself worth it.

Did Cody live up to the hype generated by his strong character and promo work?  That was one of Doc's big questions pre-Full Gear.  It seemed like the right kind of match and opponent to suit him best, but it's the main-event rather than the featured attraction match.  Meanwhile, Chris Jericho has had the show stolen out from underneath his headlining bouts previously in AEW.  Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley, on paper, was a viable candidate to commit show-stopping larceny at Full Gear, as was The Young Bucks vs. Santana and Ortiz (albeit to a lesser extent).

Of course, results matter too.  Did MJF turn on Cody?  Was there an upset in the Tag Team Title triple threat?  Who were set up as the next contenders to the various championships?

Results and tons of analysis right here on The Doc Says!
