Join us on this special feature show as we are joined by Dr. Michael Green, a professor of history at the College of Southern Nevada. Dr. Green holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in history from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Ph.D. in history from Columbia University. He is the author of several books, including Freedom, Union, and Power: Lincoln and His Party During the Civil War; and Nevada: A Journey of Discovery; and served as editor and interviewer for the oral history, A Liberal Conscience: Ralph Denton, Nevadan.  Dr. Green also edits the Nevada Historical Society Quarterly and the Wilbur S. Shepperson Series in Nevada History for the University of Nevada Press, and writes “Nevada Yesterdays,” a regular feature on KNPR. He is also a researcher for the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, better known as the Mob Museum in Las Vegas.
