You and I will examine the subtle, even blatant, changes of words and ideas in the KJV Bible have been made. The spin-off versions are full of deceptions, misinformation, wrong theory and incorrect words. You know the spin-off versions I mean: New King James Version, New International Version, New American Bible, New Revised Standard Version, New This or That. These moneymaking editions count on the copyright law for their income. Phrases like "updated", "easy-to-read" and "understandable" are their advertising words. Yes, the King James Version of the Bible has been read successfully by readers at a fourth grade level for about 500 years. I was raised on the King James Version, kind of appeared sporadically at church during my 20's, reappeared in my 30's to find out the church had given me a "better, more up-to-date" Bible. The KJV is God's inspired and true Word. I want only the truth and the King James Version is the closest to the original translation. Each episode we select any verse from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. Then we compare that verse word-for- word to the same verse in each of as many spin-off versions as time will allow. We'll discuss the reasons for the omissions, additions,and substitutions of words, ideas and punctuation. We're friendly and look forward to speaking with YOU.
