Getting Plugged into the Grid

We've all heard about the grid.  Some people talk of going off the grid and living off the earth.  Is that actually possible?  Is it necessary?  What about the energetic grid that runs throughout the earth?  Ley lines form an energy grid in the earth that we can plug into.  Let's talk about energy in its many forms.
