Join us on Carson’s Corner with the Election Boycott Advocates Aug. 22, 2016, at 9 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, as we ask and discuss the question:

Socialism: great idea, but how do we get there?

So, you've heard about socialism. It sounds like a wonderful vision for the future, but you're wondering, how do we get there from here?

We know that voting won’t get us there. Just look at Bernie Sanders’ attempt, and he’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to utterly failed electoral attempts to create socialism via the ballot box.

And we know the capitalist ruling class—the billionaire class—will do everything in their awesome power to stop even the most meager socialism-lite from occurring.

So how have these and other obstacles been overcome in the past to make genuine socialist revolutions that put the working class in power?

Well, the best place to start with that investigation is history, and what worked and what didn't.

And that’s where we’ll start tonight.
