Does Bernie have a chance? Liberal pundits say he does, pointing to the fact that Obama was in a similar position at the polls at this time during the 2007 pre-election period. However, there's a difference in that the institutional part of the Democrat Party had not already committed to Hillary at that time, but it definitely has to her now. This means all the superdelegates, even those who are quite close to Sanders will have to support Clinton. In just the last week Senator Sherrod Brown, who has been closest to Sanders, endorsed Hilary Clinton.
