In both the ATRs and European Pre-Christian religions a great deal of knowledge and wisdom has been passed down from our ancestors but sometimes only fragments remain. Some traditions have been sifted from these fragments and pieced back together yet some traditions have stayed relatively intact.

Many European traditions eventually saw a need to write down what had previously been oral traditions where the ATRs mostly remained oral traditions.
