In the U.S. and estimated 400,000 children are living without permanent families in the foster care system. 100,000 of these children are eligible for adoption, but nearly 32% of these children will wait over three years in foster care before being adopted.
Statistics indicate that children from foster care make up 30% of the homeless population and are 30% more likely to be incarcerated before the age of 19. In addition, young ladies are 2X more likely to become pregnant.

Tameka grew up in Foster Care and has had her share of up and downs; however, she is a survivor and has allowed her story to become one of Glory. She is now a mother of three, yet she found time to pursue her dream and mission of being a Foster Parent. After more than a year of pursing this dream, Tameka recently and finaly received the wonderful news, she is officially a Foster Parent.
