IT TAKES TWO 2 TANGO

“Happy Father’s Day To All The Real Fathers” was a popular posting this year and perhaps every year prior; however, this year I felt some kind of way about the negativity on social media and what I see as much blame and responsibility placed on fathers/men.  Don’t misunderstand; the men/fathers are responsible and should be held accountable but if these words are going to work on Father’s Day then let’s be fair on Mother’s Day; let’s be sure to post “Happy Mother’s Day To All The Real Mothers” – In addition, I use to be one of those mothers who took pride in hearing Happy Father’s Day but growing, wisdom and an understanding has helped me realize that I am not, can not and never will be able to be carry out the role or responsibility of a father.  Join Butterfly Evolution in discussing this and the roles of a father and mother.  Listen on line by selecting this link or listen by phone at 818-691-7406. 

FATHERS: do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord

MOTHERS:  Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
