It is the same promise that Jesus gives to everyone—the promise of the Holy Spirit. Readers will be thrilled by the fictional story of Lanee, a fourteen-year-old girl who met Jesus on the hills of Galilee.

Lanee and her family travel to Jerusalem to wait for the promise Jesus said He would be sending from Heaven. When the Holy Ghost comes, they praise God in an unknown tongue, and holy fire rests upon them. When they return to their village, they endure great persecution.

Regardless of age, every reader will identify with Lanee, because she is a young person who finds her own relationship with God through Jesus. This book makes the concept of being filled with the Holy Spirit real and compelling. To see how this experience changes Lanee is something that can be applied to every reader’s life.

The author writes, “I believe there is going to be another outpouring of the Holy Ghost before the Rapture. The Spirit of God will draw people to books like mine to find the true formula that Christ taught—to meet Jesus and believe in Him, then to receive the Holy Ghost. Lanee’s story gives life to this formula.”

Linda Greear has been helping her husband, Michall, pastor the Highland City Refuge Church of God in South Central Florida since 1989. She ministers in jails and nursing homes and also teaches piano. She was saved in July, 1975, and received the baptism in the Holy Spirit on the same day. The Greear family, including their children and grandchildren, have a singing ministry.
