Scott has founded and/or managed many companies and major functional groups. Companies have included Physical Electronics Laboratories, Addington Labs, AssistClick, Inc. and Chelix, Inc. Interim CEO or COO and assignments have included PetaComm, Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA.) , InventQjaya Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia), IQHarvest Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) and Jamo (Denmark).

 Scott holds bachelor of science, master of science, and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California (Berkeley and Santa Barbara). He is a senior member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
