Welcome to the show!!! Today on the Hammer Radio Network, it's Foodie Friday with Chef Cherise Kateri Cox!!!

Chef Cherise will be joining us, and Brian and I will be making a gourmet dish---LIVE ON THE SHOW!!! If you would like to join us in the studio and take part of this live cooking demo, the number to call is 319-527-6099. Here are the ingredients and directions for the recipe tomorrow:

Shrimp scampi. 1/2 pound medium Shrimp 1 cup White Wine (Chardonnay is best) 10 cloves Garlic minced 1/2 pound butter 1/4 teaspoon Oregano Salt to taste White pepper to taste Parmesan cheese optional Angel hair pasta or whatever you choose Clean and season the shrimp with salt, oregano, and pepper and one of the garlic cloves minced. Allow to sit. In a skillet over a low heat melt 3 pats of butter. Add the garlic and allow to become aromatic. Remove from the fire and pour in the wine and place on the fire. Add the shrimp and allow to simmer until the shrimp is pink. Remove from the fire and allow to cool. Boil your pasta until soft, do not over cook. Rinse and set to the side. Stir in the butter and allow to melt. This should thicken the sauce. Add your cheese if you want. Plate your pasta and place your shrimp on top with some of the sauce. Enjoy!!
