In Job Chapter One, Satan has been walking the earth accusing those that serve the Lord God Almighty. Satan does not disguise himself and proceeds into the presence of God with the sons of God. I would surmise that it is a very comfortable exercise for Satan. For this particular episode, it is important to note that it appears that God has removed the protections that surround Job and his family and Satan has begun to launch attack after attack against Job and his family. Even though Job was careful to offer sacrifices to God to cover any intentional or unintentional failures of the heart of his sons and the fact that  Job, himself, sought not to sin against God, a very vicious attack from Satan ensued. While Job was speaking and acting upright before God, the attacks came to destroy him. What is a believer to do when the attacks of Satan continue even when the upright and blameless person is walking upright before God? How is the upright and blameless person to respond when God responds with an attack from Satan.. Job's actions and words were upright, but all he saw was destruction. There is is a protocol (a code of correct conduct) to follow when this situation arises in the life of the blameless and upright.
