Here on The #SocialSpitballShow, Barbara Dee & Bram Sarkowski strive to air the truth bit by bit on our broadcasts.  The truth is relative to the observer.

For many of us, our struggles are financial, medical, family, etc.  Most of us take our civil liberties for granted.  Many still strive to achieve equality under the law.  Members of the transgender community are fighting a fierce battle for something as simple (should be anyway) as their human rights and their rights as citizens of their country.  In the United States, all men (and definitely women) are created equal and deserve to be treated accordingly.

Our guest for this episode is Janice Covington Allison, who knows all too well the struggles facing the LGBT community.  She is a veteran, an active Democrat, an activist and a recent candidate for Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, breaking new ground for the Equality movement.

Please tune in at 7pm Eastern to hear from Janice as she shares her story and answers any questions you may have.

This is such a necessary and important conversation.  Let's get the conversation going...
