BRAD KRONEN'S "WELCOME TO THE ZODIAC" SERIES “People have forgotten how to tell a story. Stories don't have a middle or an end any more. They usually have a beginning that never stops beginning.” - Steven Spielberg, Sagittarian “"Why not seize the pleasure at once?" - Jane Austen, Sagittarian “Luck is only important in so far as getting the chance to sell yourself at the right moment.” - Frank Sinatra, singer who made the song “Luck Be A Lady Tonight” famous, and Sagittarian We leave the dark oceanic lair of Scorpio and emerge into the golden light of in born luck that is Sagittarius. It is here that we approach the final four signs of the zodiac and since the ego was officially killed by the flames of Scorpionic desire, Sagittarius, by being a “child of bounty”, SHOULD behave as an “ambassador to the universe” by showing the self that a much bigger plan exists – that of the Universe. I emphasize the word “should” because time and time again I find that the sign that is truly given so much not only doesn’t share their bestowed bounty but blatantly squanders it. Everything in the universe has a price, so too does being born lucky. Without a sense of discipline, work ethic, and focusing on the belief of “goodwill towards men”, dumb old luck has a way of becoming terrifying and ugly past a certain age and can end up devouring the person who possesses it, by making them the most embarrassing of hypocrites and ineffectively irresponsible with everything they do. The inherent luck of the Sagittarian is what makes them the eternal optimist, even when things seem anything BUT hopeful. The icon that I have chosen for Sagittarius is one of my best pieces of writing and my choices for Sagittarius’ Song of the Day are powerful to say the least. Both are quite apropos for these uncertain times. I urge all of you to take the time to check them out! So join me won’t you? Luck be a Sag-y tonight!
