Tonight Bonnie welcomes guest Cygnet Brown, a historical fiction mystery writer. Cygnet was born in Northwestern Pennsylvania in 1959. She started writing stories in seventh grade English class, but life got in the way. After graduation, she served on active duty in the Navy from 1981 - 1987 as a Neuro-psychiatric Technician. She continued in the reserves until 1999.

Cygnet got married, became a mother to three children, stepmother to another and became a nurse. She returned to writing in 2008 after she failed as a nurse and fell into a state of depression. Writing became her salvation and she returned to her passion. She then wrote her first book in the Locket Saga: When God Turned His Head.

Tonight we will also discuss her follow up novel and future writing.

Cygnet currently lives in Springfield, Missouri with her husband and daughter.
