Your Oral Diktion, with CEO/Host Poetess April J Armstrong, the Golden Voiced Intellectual welcomes Author & Poet Lydia "BornToWrite" Cook. 

Bio: Lydia Cook also recognized as BornToWrite the Poet is an award-winning spoken word poet, she is an author and inspirational speaker. Her mission and calling is to empower, encourage, and inspire diverse audiences globally. Cook has self published two books to date and her work is featured in five anthologies and in Tennessee and Ohio public libraries. In 2015 Lydia became “Toastmaster Cook,” earning her Competent Communicator Certification from Toastmaster International. Cook is currently an up and coming blog talk radio host with Black Love Poetry Series Network. On the BornToWrite Variety Show, Lydia interviews, and presents her written works "poetic, radio dramas" (mini skits).

In 2017 Cook collaborated with Nashville Peacemakers where she wrote and facilitated Beautiful Brown Faces (BBF) a literary and public speaking workshop for our youth. Cook was supported by the Nashville Arts Commission!

Lydia offers public speaking, artist development, and self publishing challenges at very reasonable rates. Cook is soon to release her second poetic CD, titled Inspirational Eyes Aren’t Easy, and her third book, titled "When the Bird Lady Flies".
