Tonight's feature poet standing on the bear skin rug, behind the Retro Mic under the Purple Spotlight Ms. Carter the Poet and spotlight artists poet Yurz Truly and UK Singer Chrissy Day.

I am Ms. Carter the poet! Currently residing in Georgia from Chicago, IL. I am a mother of two a licensed hair braider and spoken word artist! I am also a host, event curator and slam poet! I will be releasing my first book of poems later this month entitled “Candidly Speaking !” I love writing and performing because it sets me free! Free to be myself, free from guilt, pain and struggle! I think by living in my truth I encourage others to do the same

This Dope Poet, Yurz Truly, is my first "Spotlight An Artist." His poetic skills will be on full display and will leave you amazed as he gives us some of the Dopest Poetry we will have ever witnessed.

This Amazing Vocalist Chrissy Day will be coming to The Beautiful Soul Kafe, all the way from The UK to be my other of my "Spotlight An Artist." Her vocal skills will be on full display and will leave you amazed as she gives us her single "Something I Need."
