Join us as we discuss the origin of Black History Month and its founder Dr. Carter J. Woodson for 20 minutes.  For the remainder of the program, we will discuss the goals and the successes of The Writers' Ball, an innovative and celebratory event. 

The Writers Ball Grant Program, the nation's largest independent private grant program, was created to support and bridge the gap between the financial reality and artistic creation. We do this by providing funding assistance and sponsorships for individuals with projects in artistic disciplines, including writing, performing or publishing of original creative works, giving them the opportunity to display their work for all the world to see.The Writers' Ball will be Saturday, February 25th in Atlanta (Buckhead), GA.  Ticket info:
