On June 25th, 2010, Rhonda and I started Black Women Talk. The show was designed to learn more about black men and to ask questions that would hopefully give us better insight into our counterparts. Over the past 9 months, we have been surprised at the popularity of the show. We are grateful for our faithful listeners. We never expected to have so many men call into the show. So many in fact that we have jokingly dubbed it Black Men Talk...To Black Women. But over that time, we have grown tired and frustrated. Black men call in weekly to let us know how much they dislike black women and how we are to blame for everything. We constantly hear the barrage of complaints (too many kids, overweight, loud, argumentative, too easy, unsupportive, etc) and it is has turned into a female bashing show that is about to drive us to drink. Soooo... Rhonda and I are going to do a live broadcast this week letting you know our plans and thoughts about the show. We want you to call in and convince us as to WHY we need to pay money monthly to keep a show on that is frustrating the hell out of us so that MEN can have a voice. Join us Sunday night at 8PM for our special (and possibly last) show.
