Black Geek Movie Talk: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Tune in today at 1:30pm PST as we review “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them”, the JK Rowling-penned flick set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  Set seventy-years before The Boy Who Lived arrived at Hogwarts, this effects-laden spectacular takes us across the pond to see how American wizards deal with dark magics and all manner of magical beasts.  David Yates, who directed the last four Potter films is back at the helm, with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, and Ezra Miller rounding out the cast. Will this latest Wizarding installment capture the magic of the original Potter films or should Warner Brothers find themselves a Time Turner and forget about this movie and the next four sequels?
