SaTanya Waters was raised in South Central Los Angeles by a single mother with five other children in an impoverished, drug and crime stricken community, SaTanya herself became entrapped in the snares of her community and began using drugs, alcohol, and leading a promiscuous life style. It was the birth of her second child out of wedlock in 1993 that SaTanya yielded her life to the Lord and experienced the "Saving Grace" and power that only comes from Jesus Christ. It was soon after her initial call to salvation that God began to deal with her about those inside and outside the house of God that needed to feel a "truly divine" touch of God.  "It is my belief that once a person truly encounters the power of God there is nothing in this world that can persuade him or her to go back, this world has nothing to offer."  It is this passion that compels her to go beyond the traditional and conventional to reach "a people" hungry for something else.  "They've tried everything even church, but my desire is to give them Jesus, that's it and that's all."
