Let me preface my remarks by saying that this lesson is meant for men and women, God has used both and children too to fulfill His plans.

Many times people feel as though they are not qualified to be used by God. Even many within the Bible itself felt this way. Abraham and his wife, Sarah, both, felt that they were too old to fulfill God's plan for their lives, i.e., being parents to a child who would lead his descendants into becoming God's chosen people. Moses used five excuses for not going to Pharoah... ranging from " not knowing enough about you" to "I have a thick and slow tongue". Isaiah the prophet felt that his "unclean lips" disqualified him from being an instrument that God could use.

What do you believe about yourself that you feel makes you unworthy or ill-equip to be used by God?

Well, before you cross your name off of God's list... let us see what God expects from those He has chosen to use.

That is our topic this evening, "The Man God Uses"
