I’m a retired science and history teacher.  I’ve been exploring the backcountry of Arizona for over 30 years.  Most of those years in the backcountry were spent tracking for hunting but now the tracking is mostly for photography.

I approach all investigations with a skeptical outlook and upholding conservative scientific principles.

  This past year I have begun to actively investigate different regions of Arizona to try and find evidence that it may possibly exist.  The sightings reported from the Apache and Navajo Reservations were significant in my decision to consider the southwest as a possibility. I still think that its existence would be most likely to occur in the northwestern U.S. and Canada.  These regions of North America have the most unexplored or isolated wilderness areas.
