Kevin Schoeppel: Bible and The Truth About Psychics

In his new and amazing book, The Bible: The Truth About Psychics and Spiritual Gifts, author and Bible teacher Kevin Schoeppel has written documented proof that having spiritual gifts such as being a psychic or medium is NOT the work of the devil, but is in fact a gift from our Lord and God.
Kevin Schoeppel has taught the Bible for more than 20 years. He was ordained as a deacon in 1999 and in 2006 was named Adult Education Director of Pima Street Baptist Church in Tucson, Arizona. While in that position, Kevin began writing his own Bible Study material for the two classes he taught at his church. His interest in the paranormal began by dating a psychic as a teenager in 1975. This relationship raised his consciousness of the somewhat-lacking social attitudes toward psychics in the 1970s, while at the same time it caused him to re-examine his religious beliefs. He became a Christian in 1988.
In the 2000’s, due to media interest in the paranormal, Kevin’s classes would ask him for Biblical answers to their questions about psychic ability, paranormal occurrences, and the afterlife. Meanwhile, as social networks began forming, Kevin began to share the Bible online with mediums and learn about their experiences as well. This led to a friendship between his family and Melanie, a medium in northwestern Arizona who had been unjustly “bashed” for her gift by “Bible thumpers” all of her life.
