Episode 42- Back to Camp

NBA Training Camps open this week, so Bryan and Steve will look at a few of the interesting preseason stories swirling around the NBA, such as why Chris Bosh and the Heat's relationship appear to be over, the upcoming Derrick Rose civil suit on rape allegations and how NBA players will voice their concerns over issues brought to front door of sports by Colin Kaepernick's protest during the national anthem.

The month of August began with the induction of the 2016 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class led by Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, Yao Ming and Sheryl Swoopes.  Also in the 10-member class were Zelmo Beaty, Jerry Reinsdorf, Darrel Garretson, Tom Izzo, John McLendon, and Cumberland Posey.

Before training camps began, Kevin Garnett, "The Big Ticket," decided to retire after 21 season in the league. Garnett's retirement is the 3rd NBA icon over the past 20 years to call 2015-16 their last season, following the retirement of Kobe Bryant at the end fo the season and summer's retirement announcement by Tim Duncan.
