2013-14 SEC Preseason Outlook

Matt McCall--UF Men's Assistant Basketball Coach:

 

Matt McCall enters his third season at Florida, having helped the Gators to the 2013 SEC Championship and a pair of Elite Eight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. McCall has made an immediate impact on recruiting at UF, where he helped secure a consensus top-10 recruiting class for the upcoming season.

 

McCall returned to the Gators having previously worked with the UF men’s basketball program while earning his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Florida. His hiring on April 25, 2011, came after three seasons as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic where he served under Mike Jarvis.

 

Florida has a 55-19 record (.743) during his tenure.
