The Uncelebrated Pioneer (The History of Harlem Hip Hop)
It has long been said that Hip Hop started in the Bronx, New York and really never giving the Harlem MC's, DJ's, B-Boys and Young Promoters their props.
East Harlem’s own DJ Big Stew takes you back in time when it all began, bringing some of the Harlem legends from the era before there was Hip Hop on radio and wax. Hear the real stories from those who were there from the conception of plugging your set (sound system) directly into the streetlight, walking miles to see your favorite MC's & remembering those who are not with us anymore and never got their just due.
