The words "you have cancer" conjure up lots of emotions, with the most common ones being fear and anxiety. Yet, there are far more powerful ones that if given a voice can be life-altering, for the person diagnosed and everyone around them. Brenda George understands that in a profound way and she's spreading a message of surviving through hope.

She and her husband were leading the good life with a vacation in the works, a daughter's wedding in progress, and new sports car. Then, cancer stepped into their sweet spot; rudely invading their lives and changing everything. Her personal story, Rejoicing Through theTears: Embracing God's Hand in Cancer, became the window of hope she needed, and countless other survivors have grabbed onto.

Brenda frequently works with the American Cancer Society and other non-profits to share her inspirations and help others turn mourning into dancing. The challenges of cancer can easily create an emotional roller-coaster.
