So  many folks think that being prepared means you have to be prepared for anything and everything, all at once, or not at all. It is that all or nothing thing that kills most folks plans who are thinking about starting their preps. If you can do that great, but I like to think of it like being stranded out in the middle of nowhere, in a rental car (because if it were my own I would be in decent shape) and checking the car to see what you have with you that you can use, and finding a can of prok and beans and a cigarette lighter.
