As 2015 comes to a close, and we begin working on "resolutions", "goals", let us start to look at our relationships. Not only our relationships with others, but our relationship with ourselves. Join us as we welcome Evangelist Shona Dukes who will share some strategies on creating healthy relationships.

Evangelist Shona L. Dukes was born and raised in the city of Rochester, NY. Her journey with Christ began at the tender age of nine years old as a member of Faith Covenant National Church of God under the leadership of Bishop Lewis T. Brown Sr. She functioned in several capacities of ministry for many years; Youth Department President, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director and Worship Leader.

Evangelist Dukes has been reaching others through the testimony of her life, long before any titles were given to her. Her story spans from being a widow at the age of 23 to having suffered an unexpected stroke at the age of 35 due to massive blood clots in her brain. According to several physicians, it was medically impossible for her to have survived such trauma. Even with some traces of clots remaining, God raised her up from this near death experience without any faculties lacking. She was able to walk and talk without any impairment. She's more than grateful that God has spared her life and there is no stopping her now. Evangelist Dukes is in the final stages of her first written work titled, “Married to the Down Low”, a tell all account of her personal life story, when remarried, as the wife of a husband and pastor living a secret lifestyle and how God put the pieces of her life back together, allowing her to move on in healing and in purpose. The power and anointing of God are prevalent in her life and it is with great passion and desire that she shares her story with unyielding transparency to inspire and motivate others, especially young women, to follow the direction of God for their lives.
