What's the purpose of snooping?

Have you ever had a feeling that your significant other was cheating on you? Did you snoop through his/her clothes, cell phone, apartment? What did you find? How did you feel after you snooped? It has been said that when you go looking, you find things.So, you found something that may indicate infidelity. What will you do with the information? Will you confront the person? When you snoop does it mean you have trust issues? Shoulld your partner trust you after you searched through their personal items?
