This week's show has a remarkable young man as my guest. Imagine being a successful entrepreneur at 22! As a senior at Northeastern University studying social entrepreneurship, Michael Behan is already making a huge difference in the world.

In June of 2010 he found himself flying to Nairobi for the very first time.   Since high school Michael had been volunteering for Flying Kites Global, an NGO providing excellent care and eduction for orphaned and abused children in a sleepy town called Njabini. It would be the first time he would meet those bright eyed kids he had been hearing about for years. Michael was 18 at the time and this experience would lead to a journey he never anticipated and a lot more flights to Nairobi.

About Njabini Apparel...

This creates self-sufficiency for these mothers so that they can provide for their families, educate their children, and save for the future. The mothers Njabini employs hand-craft beautiful products using locally sourced materials, each one sharing their story of hope and promise. Pamoja. We are together.
