Hebrews 9:1-2 That first covenant between God and Israel had regulations for worship and a place of worship here on earth. 2 There were two rooms in that Tabernacle.[a] In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and sacred loaves of bread on the table. This room was called the Holy Place.
This morning we will continue in this teaching in regards to A Covenant of Perfection, pt4. We are yet taking a look into the Old Testament and seeing a vast contrast in regards to the Tabernacle, what’s seen inside of it and the New Testament/Covenant and how this dissimilarity cannot be misrepresented as to what God is saying to us today. That old system was good, but not Great! It needed perfecting and this is what we have been expounding upon, so that your faith in God will begin again. So that your faith will develop, so that your faith will remain steadfast, so that your faith will have will to grow up. We’ve seen in the Old Tabernacle…. the Lampstand, the Table, the Oil and the Sacred Loaves of Bread. Twelve loaves to be exact to stacks of six. Twelve is God’s number of perfection, making the Twelve Tribe of Israel His Protégé. Everything about Israel was depended upon God’s leading and they had a hard time getting to know that. Sounds familiar huh? The sustainability of the manna was test in their hard place called wilderness. This sacred bread is necessary for our sustainability today!
