For the longest time, as a predominantly left-brain oriented society, we have learned to give the mind the main power to resolve our issues and heal our emotions. Frequently, we talk ourselves out of our emotions and neglect that they are a vital part of our internal guidance system. However, as much as our mind cannot digest our food it cannot resolve our emotions.
The body plays a very important part in our healing journey. It constantly tries to communicate with us through physical sensations and emotions. Our body serves as a visceral map to our subconscious mind, which in Hypnosis is also referred to as the emotional mind. In order to live in health and balance we need to create harmony between mind, body and emotions. As our emotions begin to resolve on a deeper, physical level the mind has the capacity to form new perceptions with more ease in alignment with our innate truth.
