In addition to being an author, she is also a book lover, and co-founder of Sisters Sipping Tea Literary Book Club Houston, TX Chapter.

Karen resides in Houston, is well grounded in her Christian faith, and enjoys traveling, jazz and old school music, family gatherings, and is receptive to all that life has to offer.
