Crime Corner with Matt Coyle welcomes Travis Richardson and Stephen Buehler

Travis Richardson has been a finalist for the Macavity, Anthony, and Derringer short story awards. His novella LOST IN CLOVER was listed in Spinetingler Magazine’s Best Crime Fiction of 2012. His second novella, KEEPING THE RECORD, came out in 2014. He has published stories in crime fiction publications such as JEWISH NOIR, 44 CALIBER FUNK, Thuglit, Shotgun Honey, and Flash Fiction Offensive. He is on the board of Southern California Mystery Writers of America. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.  His upcoming story "I Know They're In There!" will be out in THE OBAMA INHERITANCE: 15 TALES OF CONSPIRACY NOIR.

Stephen Buehler’s short fiction has been published in numerous on-line publications such as Akashic Books Online and Spelk. His Derringer nominated short story, Not My Day, appeared in the Last Exit to Murderanthology. In 2017, Seth’s Big Move was published in the LAst Resort anthology, which was expertly edited. He has two finished novels, DETECTIVE RULES, a mystery/comedy PI novel and THE MINDREADING MURDERS, a story about a magician with a dark past. They are both currently making the rounds with publishers. By day Stephen is a script/story consultant for his own company, ReWriteDr. By night, he’s a magician and lives with a dog named Seymour.  

Host Matt Coyle is the author of the Rich Cahill crime series. His novels have won the Anthony, San Diego Book, and Ben Franklin Silver awards and have been nominated for the Anthony, Macavity, Shamus, and Lefty awards. The fourth Rick Cahill crime novel comes out in December of 2017. Matt lives in San Diego with his dog, Angus, where he is writing the 5th book in the series.
