David Morrell is the award-winning author of First Blood, the novel in which Rambo was created. He is a co-founder of International Thriller Writers, and an honorary lifetime member of the Special Operations Association and the Association of Intelligence Officers. His latest novels, Murder as a Fine Art and Inspector of the Dead, are Victorian thrillers that explore the world of 1850s London. Based on years of research, they attempt to make readers believe they are truly on those harrowing, fogbound streets. Both novels feature a brilliant literary figure of the era, Thomas De Quincey, who wrote the essay, “Postscript: On Murder Considered as One of the Fine Arts.”

Thrill Seekers host Alex Dolan is a writer and musician based in California. His first book, The Euthanist, is published through Diversion Books and represented by the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency. His second novel, with a working title of The Empress of Tempera, is scheduled for publication in January 2017 with Diversion Books. His is an executive committee member of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Litquake and a member of International Thriller Writers and Sisters in Crime.
