Kid's author Marie Unanue teaches kindness thru books on Authors on the Air

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes children's book author Marie Unanue, who wrote The Adventures of Phatty & Payaso: Central Park.

About my guest:  Marie Unanue is the new author of the children’s book series, “The Adventures of Phatty & Payaso.”  Marie has always been an avid reader and an activist for children who are bullied. As a kindness advocate, she hopes to inspire children across the world to remember to always treat each other with kindness and compassion. Marie sits on the board of the C&J Unanue Foundation and resides with her husband Andy and their animals in NYC and Mantoloking, NJ

About the book:   Through “The Adventures of Phatty and Payaso: Central Park,” child readers learn about good behavior and how to treat people with kindness. Kids can identify with a character’s fear or insecurity and experience the feeling of achievement when the character overcomes it. This is not just book about an adventure in Central Park, it is a book about kindness, character and overcoming obstacles.
