Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes crime fiction author Ed Aymar and his creative partner, DJ Alkimist Venetz to the studio.    Ed and DJ Alkimist have set short story crime fiction to dance and electronica music to create  unique way to feel and hear story.       

DJ Alkimist makes music.        E.A. Aymar writes stories.                 Then they mash it all together.  Each finished track is accompanied by a piece of artwork, inspired by the music and story. Music, writing, visual art? We’re an immersive experience!  Collaborative efforts will be released…let’s say every other month? That’s probably close.

Kimberly Venetz, aka DJAlkimist, is a DJ, musician, and music producer based out of Washington, DC, and New York City. You can catch her spinning everything from private parties to corporate events to special events to nightclubs. 

E.A. Aymar is the author of I’LL SLEEP WHEN YOU’RE DEAD and YOU’RE AS GOOD AS DEAD. He also writes a monthly column for the Washington Independent Review of Books, and is the Managing Editor of The Thrill Begins . His short fiction and non-fiction have appeared in a number of top crime fiction publications.
