Jodaéa,

She is a cross-genre author of romantic/suspense, crime, and mystery/thrillers. Raised in both Washington, D.C. and Prince George's County, Maryland, Jodaéa attended Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland as well as Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She is also a Registered Nurse and member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc..Jodaéa began her literary journey in 2008 after much encouragement from her family chronicled her past experiences. She says her inspirations come from recalling past experiences, adding an element of fiction, and a shocking twist, then let the stories write themselves! Every situation in her novels is based in fact on fictional backstories. However, there is ALWAYS a lesson to be learned in the end! Jodaéa's novels have been reviewed internationally in countries such as South Africa, India, and Palestine. Jodaea explains, “I know my stories are interesting, entertaining, and insightful. My novels have stories within the story. Because this society is one of instant gratification, my novels are quick reads. I don’t employ useless trivia or insignificant narration to simply fill pages.  In  2021 Author of the Year nominee by ACHI Magazine, Jodaéa is currently set to begin a public library book tour where she will donate copies of her works to underserved libraries in central Virginia. Additionally, she will be spearheading the Novels By Jodaéa Individual Excellence Scholarship in January 2022. Soon to release her fourth literary work, Jodaéa says she is looking forward to the time when the author can take care of the nurse!
