Let’s talk about teens and sex. You know what it was like when YOU were a teen. If you weren’t doing what your friends were doing, you were afraid they wouldn’t like you. You find out your best friend is having sex. In fact, “everyone” is and you don’t want to feel left out. Stop. Fast forward to your teenage son or daughter’s life right now. The same pressures we felt when we were teens aren’t HALF as intense as what our children face now. Teenage pregnancy was our biggest fear. Our children have bigger monsters to face and what’s worse is that they may face someone who will stop at nothing to get what they want, male OR female! Not just from their peers but also their trusted elders!
