Born and raised outside of Seattle WA

I’m proud of two daughters: Michelle and Jennifer;

Four grandchildren: Brayden, Delaney, Rachel Anne and Jack

Spent last fifty years living in and loving Las Vegas, Nevada

Twenty six years in Airline Industry, Las Vegas, NV

Five years in the Funeral Industry, Las Vegas, NV

Ten years in Insurance Industry, Las Vegas, NV

 

Now actively retired, and spending time as an Author, Speaker and Advocate

 

Diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s in the fall of 2013

Volunteer on Leadership Council, Desert Southwest Chapter, Alzheimer’s Assoc.

Volunteer on Nat’l 2015 Early-Stage Alzheimer’s Advisory Group.

I am one of twelve advocates speaking on behalf of this Alzheimer’s Association recruiting, mobilizing and activating people across the nation to advance Alzheimer’s awareness and make it a priority for our nation through legislation at the federal and state levels. Also to dispel the stigma attached to Alzheimer’s disease by telling our own very personal stories which makes the vision a much more personal message and inspired call to action.

Participates in all family activities, loves hiking and out-of-doors activities,

Crochets and knits, attends Writing and Book Clubs, participates in Alzheimer’s Support Groups and enjoys traveling as much as possible.
