Dr. Reggie Padin stops by the show to chat about his book, Get Out Of The Dumpster! A True Story on Overcoming Limitations.

About the book:

Dr. Reggie R. Padin was a high school dropout who worked for pennies hauling garbage by hand out of a dumpster. Let's be real: When was the last time you walked by a dumpster and said to yourself, “I want to live in there?” But the truth is that we all have our “Dumpster Moments” that can last anywhere from hours to years. They happen because of our fears, doubts, confusion, economic problems, emotional turmoil, and toxic relationships. Age, race, sex, and income level don’t matter. A person could be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or the janitor at that same company. The bottom line is that we all have experiences that can limit our ability to reach something higher. Get Out of the Dumpster is Dr. Padin’s true and inspirational story of how he climbed out of his many dumpsters (literally out of his first one) and became a successful educator, speaker, entrepreneur, and spiritual leader.

About the author:

Dr. Reggie R. Padin's mission is all about helping people overcome their "Dumpster Moments" and go beyond their limitations. An award-winning speaker, his story has inspired many to believe in themselves and recognize their God-given potential. When he is not inspiring and training others to come out of their dumpsters, he's most likely writing, attending a concert, a sporting event, thinking, or simply trying a unique restaurant. A dynamic speaker, Dr. Padin is available for speaking engagements, appearances, and consulting in corporations, colleges and universities, churches, non-profit organizations, television and radio programs. Dr. Padin resides in Miami, Florida, and may be reached at
