This week on Art's Place I'll discuss Bob Costa's controversial comments made on Sunday Night Football Nov 2 over gun culture that lead to the death of Kansas City Chiefs palyer Jovan Belcher and Kasandra Perkins the mother of his infant daughter.

Jason Whitlock, whom Costas has been quoting, asserted “the NRA is the new KKK" because it is trying to arm so many black gangs. Costas also expressed his justifiable concerns about “inner cities where teenage kids are somehow armed to the hilt.”

From Leslie Elvebak: "Guns don't hold the exclusive ability to hurt, maim or kill someone. Unfortunately there are many ways to accomplish this if a person sets their mind to it. I wonder if Bob Costas appreciates his other constitutional right of free speech that he exercised when starting such a social media firestorm tonight.
I will continue to say prayers for all families impacted by domestic violence. Maybe its time that the deeper issues that lead to these tragedies are addressed. Whatever those may be."

I'm the second hour I'll talk about an opinion column by James W. Anderson 12 reasons why I vote Democrat and the uproar it caused by my liberal friends on my Facebook page.
