Join host Tanya M. Dixon for another exciting edition of ART Imitates LIFE Radio Show as she welcomes Johannesburg, South African Filmmaker—THEMBA SIBEKO on the “AIL Spotlight”!  We will speak about how Hollywood Director/Actor Bill Duke has appointed Themba Sibeko's White Heron Pictures to produce and co-direct segments of his much anticipated documentary entitled "Light Girls"—a follow up to the 2013 critically acclaimed and NAACP award winning documentary "Dark Girls" which broadcasted on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).  In light of Black Music Month, we will also speak about the growth of African and African-American collaborative efforts in both music and film.

In the 2nd hour of the show "The Living Room" segment will highlight the topic, “Behind Bill Duke’s ‘Dark Girls’ documentary and his upcoming ‘Light Girls’ documentary…Can we talk about Color Stratification in and outside of the Black Community?”
