Kim Betton is president of Premier Multimedia Group, LLC (PMMG), a Maryland based firm offering public relations, video production, voice imaging, and publishing of www.crescendojazz.com. Kim has a wealth of knowledge from the world of television news and media relations. She’s a former reporter for NBC 4 in Washington, DC where she also filed reports for MSNBC. Kim's work also includes news anchor/reporter for WKBW-TV, Buffalo, New York, FOX 13 News, Memphis, TN, KARK 4 News, Little Rock and USA TODAY Sky Radio in Washington, DC. Her public relations experience includes Howard University as media relations manager and at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as public relations specialist. Kim enjoys writing a wide range of subjects from investigative to human interests and the arts. In 2008 she was nominated by the National Association of Black Journalists' Salute to Excellence Awards for her work at KARK 4 News - "Little Rock: LRSD Desegregation 50 Years Later; Is it working?” and "Lessons from Little Rock," Heart and Soul Magazine. While at FOX 13, the George Foster Peabody Awards committee recommended Kim’s series “Carter’s Quarters; Kim Betton’s Roots” to be placed in the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, IL. Kim has been recognized across the country for her motivational speaking and volunteerism efforts. Kim is a graduate of Grambling State University and pursing her Master of Arts in Communications Management. She loves music, fashion, travel and the union of family and friends.
